These worked really well on my safe shelves and gave me extra storage for pistols in an area that was not used. Really great idea.
These are well made and work great. They hold my .50 AE Desert Eagle without an issue and micro pistols with red dots. I will be buying more of them.
I was looking for a solution to organize my handguns without taking up space in my gun closet, and these hanging racks do the job nicely. They’ll fit snug and securely on any size shelf, the neoprene sleeve protects the barrel, and as you can see they work well on everything from a full size 5” 1911 to a 3.3” compact. I’ll be adding several more to fully organize my pistol collection.
"Are you looking for a way to organize your guns? Armory Racks has enhanced the experience to new levels. An 11 inch Shelf Hanger from @ArmoryRacks is the only option. From closets to safes, the shelf hanger provides versatility, protection, and most importantly space! Due to updates in the design, the hanger hugs the shelf tightly allowing for easy removal of firearms while still protecting the barrel with the red protective cap. Highly Recommended!”
Excellent product. Helped recover some much needed space in my safe. The heavy paint finish is safe enough to protect the bore of a .22 without the plastic tip, but it would be an improvement. Perhaps a reduced tip diameter, with plastic covers sized for .22 and others for larger calibers. A worthy investment that is highly recommended.
Mike, Thanks for the feedback. We made several changes to the design such as different size widths allowing for different shelf thicknesses. We also looked at a smaller diameter hanger when we were building these hangers. The challenge is when you go smaller than the .192 the hangers are not strong enough for all sizes of .22's, let alone larger handguns, and they droop below the shelf too much. The way you used the hangers is exactly as designed.
