Spanish Astra Model 300
Most collectors recognize the Astra 300 by its unique tubular shape and finely checkered hardwood grips. Many thousands were “bring backs” by returning U.S. servicemen from WWII.
CMP M1911A1 – The Luck of the Draw
After eight months of crickets, the phone call came. Two days after paying by credit card, the Service Grade M1911A1 showed up at the local FFL01. It was good condition WWII era M1911A1 with a Colt frame and Union Switch & Signal slide.
Ceská Zbrojovka Model 27 - CZ27
The CZ27s went primarily to the German Army, but pistols were produced for the Kriegsmarine, Police, and a small number for commercial / non‑military use.
In March 1939, Hitler’s forces invaded and occupied Czechoslovakia. The Strakonice arms factory was under control of the Germans and to supply several types of arms to the German war machine, including the CZ27. By 1941, small arms production shifted into high gear.
