Product Overview

Included are eight (8) high-quality neoprene barrel-protection heat shrink wraps designed for use on the hangers of your Armory Rack. Neoprene is highly resistant to fluids, solvents, and abrasion, making it well suited for firearm storage applications.

• Pre-cut to the correct length for 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-Gun Armory Racks
• Customer-installed accessory
• Designed to be used in combination with red barrel caps

Compatibility

• Suitable for firearms .30 caliber / 9mm and larger when used with red barrel caps
• Not compatible with .22 caliber firearms

Material & Specifications

Armory Racks® neoprene heat shrink tubing hanger coatings are Mil-Spec M23053/1 compliant. This tubing is engineered for harsh environments where a durable, flexible protective covering is required.

• Resists water, oils, and common solvents
• Excellent abrasion resistance
• Flexible and form-fitting once heat-shrunk

Installation Notes

1. Slide the pre-cut neoprene wraps over the hangers until they reach the base frame.
2. Leave approximately ½ inch of hanger exposed for installation of the red barrel cap.
3. Smooth out any wrinkles before applying heat.
4. Using a heat gun or hair dryer (no open flame), apply heat evenly at approximately 275°F, starting at the outside of the bend and working around all sides.
5. Once the wrap has fully shrunk and conformed to the hanger, trim if necessary.
6. Install the red barrel caps.

When properly installed, the neoprene coating provides durable protection against abrasion and solvents, helping preserve handgun barrel finishes during storage.
