    Manufactures Representatives Role Summary:

    RJK Ventures LLC is seeking a Territory Manufactures Representatives for a specific state/region who is an entrepreneurial self-starter able to work with ambiguity and set direction to drive to achieve defined goals.  The representative will solicit orders targeting industry business, large users / collectors, government entities and firearm manufactures. The representative will have a defined territory and all job functions will be geared around promoting and driving revenue for the RJK Ventures LLC products.

    It is your responsibility as a professional manufacturers’ representative to take it upon yourself to help develop a defined strategy for your assigned region.  You will spend much of their time traveling to and visiting with clients and prospective buyers. During a sales call, you will discuss the client's needs and suggest how RJK Ventures products can meet those needs. You will be enabled to show samples and marketing materials that describe the products we design.  You will inform customers about prices, availability, and ways in which our products can save money and boost productivity.

    As a professional straight commission sales agent you will be expected to pay your own business expenses which will include, among other things, your automobile, office space, business cards, stationery, clothes, telephone, meals, office equipment and overnight lodging.  In other words, you must be in a position to support yourself financially one hundred percent for your new self-employed business as well as all of your ongoing personal living expenses.


    • Bachelor s Degree and/or equivalent work related experience
    • Firearms Industry knowledge
    • Experience calling on large end users, government entities and gun shops is ideal
    • At least 1 year in business to business
    • Excellent communications & presentations skills
    • Proficient in online commerce, electronic quoting and the overall sales process
    • Strong business orientation/acumen, analytical aptitude, retail math and basic financial knowledge plus computer skills. 
    • Must have leadership qualities, and the ability to influence others and champion projects.

     Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Help maximize sales and increase sales volume at Key Accounts through execution, education, and promotion
    • Sign new direct dealers and general accounts by prospecting in the assigned territory.
    • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talk with customers in person or via phone.
    • Identify prospective customers by using business directories
    • Coordination of customer and industry events within assigned territory
    • Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize salable features.
    • Help customers select products based on the customers' needs, product specifications, and regulations
    • Execute promotional programs and merchandising opportunities with customers in retail environment. Gain agreement and support from the store managers, secure preferred product placement, place signage, and generate awareness
    • Answer customers' questions about prices, availability, and product uses
    • Submit orders for processing
    • Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns
    • Participates in the development of sales forecasting for annual budgeting, forecasts, and other financial planning/reporting activities
